Surge Enchantment is a simple, straightforward mod which adds a brand new enchantment: Surge.

It is very similar in concept to Vanilla Lunge Enchantment. Same core concept of using a spear thrust to propel yourself, but reworked to function while elytra flying. Plus unlike Lunge, it works in any direction, even straight up and straight down but again while only elytra flying

Usage is pretty simple too.

Just enchant a spear with Surge (up to level III),

While flying with an elytra, perform a spear lunge/jab attack.

Gain a boost in the direction you’re looking.

That's it.

Of course like Lunge, Higher levels give stronger boosts at the cost of more hunger and durability.

It is compatible with Lunge. means when on the ground, lunge will work like normal but as soon as you start flying with elytra, the Surge will start working.

It is a treasure enchantment but you can get it by trading with Villagers.

Available for All Loaders. Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt on Minecraft 1.21.11, 26.1.x and also 26.2. Also available as a DataPack.
