⚡ TempoSMP

TempoSMP is a zero-sum, combat-speed SMP plugin built natively for Paper. Players compete for Tempo (%), an attribute governing temporal momentum, combat recovery, mobility, and survival.

Every kill steals Tempo; every death loses it. Maximize your reserves to unlock devastating combat perks, or flatline at 0% and face elimination until a teammate revives you.

⚔️ Core Mechanics

1. Zero-Sum Stealing & Elimination

• Baseline Tempo: New players start at 100% Tempo.
• PvP Kills: The killer steals +10% Tempo, and the victim loses -10% Tempo.
• Max Tempo Drops (250%): If you kill a player while already at max capacity (250%), the victim's lost 10% Tempo crystallizes into a physical Chrono Gear dropped on their corpse, while granting you +15s Absorption II and striking cosmetic lightning!
• Environmental Deaths: Dying to mobs, fall damage, lava, or the void deducts 10% Tempo and drops it as a recoverable Chrono Gear at your death point.
• ☠ Flatline Protocol (0% Tempo): Hitting 0% eliminates the player into Spectator mode until revived.

🏆 Tier Progression (Every 20% Tempo)

Progression is balanced across every 20% threshold:

🔱 250% Apex Weapon Speed

At 250% Tempo, the slow attack cooldowns of heavy weapons are accelerated to match the 1.6 Attack Speed of a sword:

• All Axes (Wooden, Stone, Copper, Iron, Golden, Diamond, Netherite) 1.6 Attack Speed
• Mace 1.6 Attack Speed
• Trident 1.6 Attack Speed

💥 3-Hit Warden Sonic Boom Finisher Landing 3 consecutive hits on the same target within 1.5 seconds triggers a Warden shockwave:

• Inflicts 4.0 True Bonus Damage (2 full hearts).
• Blasts the victim backward with directional knockback.
• Plays authentic Warden sonic boom audio and particles (3-second internal cooldown).

⌛ Custom Items & Relics

⚡ Chrono Gear

• Function: Right-click to consume and restore +10% Tempo (up to 250%).
• Crafting: 4x Netherite Ingots, 1x Echo Shard, 2x Breeze Rods, 1x Clock, 1x Heavy Core.

⌛ Rewind Clock

• Function: Right-click to open the Revival Altar GUI. Click an eliminated player to revive them at 60% Tempo and teleport them to your location (consumes 1 clock).
• Crafting: 4x Nether Stars, 4x authentic Chrono Gears, 1x Heavy Core.
