Discover a new dimension of pink siftslate overgrown valleys, sculk pockets, ancient ruins and giant underground caves!

Start in the deep dark. The portal is different, input a pattern into the Sonorous Siftslate to create a key! The key is: 1 → 3 → 7 → 6 → 5 → 2 → 4 → 8

What awaits you

• Custom terrain biomes ore veins, lava formations, willow trees, ruined portals and randomized trial structures.

• Blubs, Echo Golems, Singers, Sifters and Dark Sniffers along with regular sniffers, custom sounds and behavior.

• Siftite equipment, crafting recipes, crops, food, music discs, structure loot and advancements.

• A sonorous-block puzzle for Ancient City portals, plus temporary rifts (two-way portals) between the Sift and the Overworld.

• Tameable Blubs and an Echo Golem/Singer soul-block collecting.

Installation

1. Make a backup of your server. Stop it.

2. Use Paper 26.2 (tested on build 112) with Java 25.

3. Place CoreysSiftPlugin-1.0.0.jar in the plugins folder. Remove any other Sift JAR first.

4. Start the server. The plugin. Enables its bundled datapack automatically before world loading and creates the Sift world.

5.. Accept the required resource-pack request. Minecraft downloads the hosted pack automatically; players do not need to install a client mod or manually copy a pack.

Commands and configuration

Operators can use /sift for help /sift sift to visit the dimension /sift exit to return, /sift pack to request the pack again and /sift locate trial to find a trial structure. Administration permission: sift.admin.

Operators get a notification on join when a newer compatible stable release is available on Modrinth. Update checks are done in the background. Can be turned off with update-check.enabled: false. Updates are never installed automatically.

Important compatibility notes

All note-block states are used for custom Sift blocks. Regular note blocks are not available with this plugin and Paper note-block updates are turned off server-wide to protect the custom blocks. Custom foliage and portals also use tripwire states. Test with plugins or packs that modify those blocks before using this plugin.

This initial release has passed startup and fresh-install checks but compatibility with every hosting provider or plugin combination is not guaranteed. Not compatible with vanilla, Spigot, Fabric, Forge or Folia.
