TomExpensive
TomExpensive removes the vanilla "Too Expensive!" anvil limit while keeping the real XP cost visible and charged in Survival mode.
Features
- Shows true anvil costs above 40 levels in Survival, such as 120 levels.
- Keeps expensive anvil results clickable through ProtocolLib.
- Supports colored anvil renames with MiniMessage, legacy
&colors, and hex colors. - Allows free anvil use with the
tomexpensive.freepermission. - Includes
/repairfor repairing the item in your hand. - Checks Modrinth for newer versions without warning for older releases.
Rename Colors
Use any of these formats in the anvil rename field:

Permissions
tomexpensive.repair: Allows using/repair. Default: OP.tomexpensive.free: Makes anvil use cost 0 levels. Default: false.

Installation
- Download the latest TomExpensive jar.
- Install ProtocolLib on your server.
- Drop TomExpensive into your server's
pluginsfolder. - Restart the server.
