Stop combat logging without slowing your server. Tovek Combat tags both players as soon as one hits the other, counts down the timer on the actionbar and punishes anyone who leaves in the middle of a fight. Part of the free Tovek plugins by Toprak Eker.

Features

• Tags a player when they hit another player directly, with a projectile, or with a harmful splash or lingering potion (poison, harming, slowness, weakness, wither, blindness, nausea).
• Live actionbar countdown while tagged, plus tag and untag messages you can change.
• Combat logging punishment: a player who disconnects while tagged is killed, so their items drop instead of being saved.
• Optional server message when someone combat logs.
• Elytra gliding is stopped and blocked while tagged (can be turned off in config).
• Commands are blocked while tagged. An allowed-commands list lets chosen commands through.
• The plugin checks the main command name, so minecraft: style prefixes cannot be used to get around the block.
• Players with combat.bypass are never tagged and have no limits.
• Citizens style NPC players are ignored.
• Tag data is kept in memory, so nothing is written to disk when players hit each other.

Installation

1. Drop the jar into your plugins folder.
2. Start the server once to create plugins/TovekCombat/config.yml.
3. Change the timer and messages, then run /combat reload.

Configuration

• combat-duration-seconds: how long a tag lasts (default 15).
• disable-elytra: stop gliding while tagged (default true).
• allowed-commands: commands that still work in combat. Add this list yourself. Anything not listed is blocked while tagged.
• messages.*: MiniMessage text for tag, untag, blocked command and elytra messages. To announce combat logs, add messages.combat-log-broadcast (supports %player%).
